Bouldering 103

The third class in our beginner series will focus entirely of footwork. Firstly we will learn to maximize our legs while climbing in the overhang and how to stand on volumes and tiny holds on th slab wall. We will also begin to go into more advanced footwork techniques such as flagging, heel hooks, toe hooks, knee bars, and heel toe cams. How to spot them, how to use them effectively, and when they are most useful. This class is great for those that already feel confident climbing in the gym and have at least a month or 2 under their belt. Ideally you are able to climb most of the purples in the gym and half of the greens. This will ensure you are getting the most of the lessons.

Bouldering 102

This class is geared towards beginner climbers that are looking for a way to upgrade their technique and push past the purple or green circuit. This class focuses on climbing basics - climbing efficiency, the fundamental principles of stability (how to identify and use them), intro into footwork, and a beginners guide to reading routes and projecting. These will help you have longer, more intentional climbing sessions and give you some things to start thinking about when you are on the wall. This class is not only perfect for those who feel comfortable in the gym environment and have only been climbing a few times, but also for those who have been climbing for a while and never had proper intruction. The fundamentals taught in this class translate from the easiest climbs all the way through to the hardest.
