How long do these programs last?

Our cycle is currently three months, with new information being covered for our returning athletes. The benefit to such small classes is the high quality individualized attention they get from our coaches, which makes this possible. We also can not offer refunds after a program starts.  Transfers may be accommodated if there is space in the other class. For any cancellation, or transfer requests, please reach out to Climb@skyhookbouldering.com

Missed Practices

Read this if you dont like kids.

We knew making the decision to add youth programs would not make everyone happy. No one likes climbing when there are kids running under them, screaming, and making the gym feel more like a playground than their favorite training spot. The good news is, that is not what youth programs are at Skyhook Bouldering.

Our commitment to our members, both those who are in the youth program, and those who are just adults who want to climb, is the same. Skyhook is the gym for you. Coaching kids is an art, and when done well, the space can be welcoming for both groups. We start every class with a reminder of safety, and a re-setting of the expectations for appropriate behavior. When we see inappropriate behavior, we correct it. We have a five step behavioral intervention plan, that when followed is incredibly successful for making the gym a positive space for everyone.

If you see something and we don't catch it, something has gone very wrong, and we want you to let us know. We decreased class size and the length of the classes to make sure that kids receive excellent coaching, and that classes are much more manageable for our coaches. This way, we can ensure that everyone is having a great time. In addition, with a set schedule, the classes will be at the same time each week, and you know what to expect when you come in at 3pm.
